hey! i'm back! 1 week in sabah with my bahai family! no parents around! lets see. who went? 12 JY, 2 youths, auntie mojan, auntie nita, auntie leetha, aunite siew choo and uncle soo chin. david, shao ning, jiahao, divya, vidya, me, parissa, badi, elsie, verene, jiajin, jojo - JY prasanna and anita, the youth. we had loads of fun there everyone was so nice to us. they treated us like we were their good friends. many things happened when we were in Sabah. we were in KK, kota marudu, papar, kg. bangkau bangkau, kg. golonot, gosusu village, tambelidon, kmlc. going there really changed my life. this travel teaching trip. the bond between us the jy and youth became stronger, much stronger. also seeing all the village children, how they were so happy to see us, so eager for us to play with them, those happy smiles even though they're not as fortunate as us, every single bit of the journey was worth while even though there wasn't a proper pumbling system at all (but peeing in the wilderness was really fun!), no electricity and since it becomes dark at around 7, it's very hard to go around without a torch, no proper drinking water, living conditions that the environmental officers of singapore would faint once they saw it... it was really worth while. i hope i'll really do it again. go travel teaching. following the path of service. we had play time too! playing UNO, card games & tricks, wading in the river, painting the faces of the children, sleeping in the villages, climbing coconut trees, water fights, performing, plucking mangosteens, feeding fish, dogs, chickens and pigs, rubber tapping... that whole week was so great that even words cannot express what the experience was like. well, i guess i'll stop here cause later we still need to go to auntie mojan's place to watch the video of the whole trip. so have fun!
